Job Description

Protect People. Protect the Environment. Power the Future. At Stryten Energy in West Lampeter Township, our plastic injection molding operation supplies plastic parts for automotive batteries. With deep roots in Lancaster County and a steady, growing customer base, we're expanding our EHS capability. The Mission Work alongside the EHS Manager to implement plant-wide programs that lower recordable and lost time injuries, strengthen government compliance, and reduce operational risk—while guiding employees, visitors, contractors, and plant staff to work safely and responsibly. Imagine This A near-miss triggers your curiosity. You step into the area, interview team members, facilitate root cause analysis, and translate findings into targeted training and engineering/administrative controls. You verify emergency equipment is ready, check waste accumulation areas for compliance, and update training records before drafting trend insights for the weekly report. Core Responsibilities Execute EHS audits, investigate incidents, facilitate safety communications, and deliver training. Design, coordinate, and conduct environmental, health, and safety training; manage make-up sessions and monthly records. Administer hazardous and non-hazardous waste collection and associated inspections. Monitor and order PPE to maintain adequate stock levels. Perform workplace assessments and recommend risk controls. Carry out weekly inspections of emergency and compliance-related equipment. Support root cause analysis to prevent recurrence of incidents. Aggregate data from reports, identify trends, and contribute to weekly reporting. Partner with external vendors to meet regulatory requirements and internal policies. Complete other related tasks as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety and Environmental Health or a related field. 0-3 years of EHS experience.
HAZWOPER
certification. Skills & Competencies Collaborative approach and strong interpersonal communication, written and verbal. Comfort with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
