Acara Solutions is seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist to support a fast-paced manufacturing environment in New Kensington, PA. - Conduct routine EHS inspections, audits, and facility walkthroughs
- Track and manage corrective actions from audits and inspections
- Maintain active floor presence and engage employees on EHS initiatives
- Assist with incident documentation, investigations, and reporting
- Support development and implementation of EHS programs and procedures
- Maintain compliance records, logs, and regulatory documentation
- Assist with EHS training coordination and safety communications
- Promote and support a positive safety culture throughout the facility
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Safety Management, Environmental Health, Industrial Hygiene, or related field
- 0-2 years of EHS experience (internships/co-ops welcome)
- Basic understanding of
OSHA/EPA
regulations- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in
Microsoft Office Suite What Sets You Apart:
- Manufacturing or industrial environment experience
- Exposure to
ISO 14001 / ISO 45001
systems- Hands-on, proactive approach to safety and compliance
- Comfortable working directly on the manufacturing floor with employees and leadership
