Acara Solutions is seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist to support a fast-paced manufacturing environment in New Kensington, PA. What You'll Do:
  • Conduct routine EHS inspections, audits, and facility walkthroughs
  • Track and manage corrective actions from audits and inspections
  • Maintain active floor presence and engage employees on EHS initiatives
  • Assist with incident documentation, investigations, and reporting
  • Support development and implementation of EHS programs and procedures
  • Maintain compliance records, logs, and regulatory documentation
  • Assist with EHS training coordination and safety communications
  • Promote and support a positive safety culture throughout the facility
What You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in Safety Management, Environmental Health, Industrial Hygiene, or related field
  • 0-2 years of EHS experience (internships/co-ops welcome)
  • Basic understanding of
OSHA/EPA
regulations
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in
Microsoft Office Suite What Sets You Apart:
  • Manufacturing or industrial environment experience
  • Exposure to
ISO 14001 / ISO 45001
systems
  • Hands-on, proactive approach to safety and compliance
  • Comfortable working directly on the manufacturing floor with employees and leadership
