Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator

Greenleaf Corporation, a world leader in industrial cutting tools and technical ceramics, is looking for an Environmental, Health and Safety Coordinator for our global headquarters in Saegertown, PA.

Responsibilities:

The EHS Coordinator will be responsible for managing, and coordinating all Environmental, Health, and Safety activities to proactively drive programs and create a culture to ensure a safe and healthy environment for all our employees. This highly visible role will have daily interaction with all employees and be a presence on the manufacturing floor Ensure facility conformance with all applicable federal, state, local and corporate environmental, health and safety laws, regulations, policies and guidelines as well as maintaining appropriate documentation and reporting. Ensure that all employee training is completed, documented and maintained in regard to regulatory requirements. Monitor follow-ups and corrective action resulting from all corporate and plant environmental, health and safety audits. Develop and deliver safety training programs for at the plant. Provide safety training to all new employees as part of our onboarding program. Detailed Injury root cause analysis and incident reporting. Contingency and emergency preparedness planning. Pollution prevention and waste minimization. Hazardous waste, air programs, water programs and community Right to Know. Evacuation and emergency drills. Providing Safety and Environmental reporting ensuring compliance with applicable OSHA regulations and staying current with changes and revisions. Noise exposure and audiometric management. Generally, works in an office setting but will be required to spend time each day inside a plant environment.

Qualifications:
