Description Convergint is looking for a full-time, enthusiastic, results driven Fire Alarm Inspector to join our amazing culture. In this role, you will assist with the testing and inspection of fire-alarm systems in assigned buildings. You will help to identify and report any problems or deficiencies found in the systems you inspect. This is a customer-facing role, one that is responsible for maximizing customer satisfaction, safety, and quality assurance on all assigned projects. Test and inspect commercial fire-alarm systems within assigned buildings.
Identify and report problems or discrepancies found in the systems you inspect.
Ensure customer satisfaction with all inspections and testing.
Monitor the fire-alarm panel.
Interact with building owner or building engineer prior to, during, and following completion of the testing process.
Review reports and initiate next steps as necessary.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested or required. What You'll Need Initiative

Requirements:
Education:
High School/GED or equivalent experienceMinimum Experience:
1 year relevant field service or customer service Preferred Experience (but not required): Experience in 1 or more of the following industries: electronics, fire alarm & life safety, and/or building automation The expected compensation range for this position is between $19 to $27 an hour, depending on experience. Please note that this job posting includes salary information for the assigned target market range within the primary geographic region the requisition is posted. If the position is posted in multiple locations or is a remote position, the salary range may vary. Individual pay rates will, of course, vary depending on the job, department, and location, as well as the individual skills, experience, certifications, specific licenses, and education of the applicant.
