Job Description

Your role Provide a safe and healthy working environment for employees and additional workforce by eliminating hazards and reducing occupational health and safety risks across all operations. Support environmental protection initiatives by applying technologies, products, and services that preserve resources, reduce pollution, and minimize waste. Contribute to a workplace culture that supports employees' mental and physical wellbeing and encourages continuous improvement in health and safety. Duties and Responsibilities Primary Responsibilities Conduct regular safety audits and inspections across all facilities to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions. Perform periodic production line audits to identify opportunities for safety improvements. Document audit findings using the iAuditor application and enter required actions into the TIA system. Collaborate with department leaders to develop and implement safety protocols and procedures. Maintain accurate records of safety incidents, near misses, and safety training sessions, and provide reports as required. Coordinate the Wellness Room upkeep and ensure availability of required resources. Enter daily TIA risk observations, near misses, incidents, and accidents. Review open TIA entries daily to ensure timely action and resolution. Review open Kaizen entries, update progress, and ensure all data is entered into the TIA database. Support SHEQ training requirements, including conducting training sessions when appropriate and documenting training per ISO standards. Support incident investigations, including documentation, photographs, written statements, initial care support, and root cause analysis. Support monthly employee-driven Safety Committee meetings. Conduct annual reviews of Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) to ensure accuracy and updates. Support compliance with
ISO 45001, ISO
14001, and ISO 9001, including safety, statutory, and regulatory requirements. Perform other duties as assigned. Special Projects Assist SHE and SHEQ with special projects as required. Perform additional tasks assigned by SHE and SHEQ leadership. Supervisory Responsibilities None To succeed, you will need Required Skills and Abilities Strong attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Knowledge of common business practices. Self-starter with the ability to work independently. Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to lead training sessions. Strong analytical skills and ability to draw accurate conclusions. Team-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement. Education and Experience Associate degree in Safety and Health and/or Sustainability (Bachelor's degree preferred). Experience or certification in Safety and Health, ISO standards, and sustainability, or a related field. Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally.
