Job Description

Join a dynamic and growing environmental consulting team dedicated to helping clients navigate complex air quality regulations and achieve operational excellence. As a Project Manager Air Quality & Environmental Compliance, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-impact solutions for a diverse range of industrial, manufacturing, energy, and commercial clients across Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma. This position offers the opportunity to work on challenging projects, collaborate with industry experts, and make a direct impact on client success while advancing your professional growth in a supportive, team-oriented environment. Responsibilities Prepare and manage air permit applications, modifications, renewals, registrations, and compliance reports for clients in various industries. Perform emissions calculations for criteria pollutants, hazardous air pollutants (HAPs), greenhouse gases (GHGs), and other regulated emissions. Evaluate regulatory applicability and compliance requirements under federal and state air quality programs. Interpret and apply environmental regulations, including the Clean Air Act (CAA), New Source Review (NSR), Prevention of Significant Deterioration (PSD), Title V Operating Permits, NSPS, NESHAP, and MACT standards. Prepare technical reports, emissions inventories, annual emissions reports, and compliance documentation. Coordinate with regulatory agencies such as the EPA, TCEQ, NMED, and ODEQ. Support compliance audits, inspections, stack testing programs, and regulatory inquiries. Manage project schedules, budgets, deliverables, and maintain effective client communications. Assist with proposal development and contribute to business growth initiatives. Stay current on evolving regulatory requirements and communicate potential impacts to clients. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in air permitting and environmental compliance. Strong knowledge of federal and state air permitting programs and regulations. Experience preparing permit applications, emissions calculations, and compliance reports. Excellent technical writing, analytical, organizational, and project management skills. Consulting experience serving multiple clients and industries (preferred). Working knowledge of EPA, TCEQ, NMED, and ODEQ regulatory programs (preferred). Experience supporting oil & gas, manufacturing, industrial, power generation, or related facilities (preferred). Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and budgets (preferred). Benefits Challenging and diverse projects across multiple industries.
