Full Job Description Summary/Objective:
USA DeBusk HSE Nitrogen Services
  • Division HSE Manager will manage and coordinate HSE in the field and within our nitrogen businesses, their branches / districts and client location projects.
Responsibilities:
SUMMARY:
Works with and through management, to ensure compliance with HSE procedures and to assist in the achievement of profitability/productivity requirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct HSE Audits . Create and manage CBT's and SOP Training for division. Assists with training matrix oversight and execution. Monitor branches /districts to ensure USA DeBusk compliance and expectations are met. Work with other branch Safety personnel to set baseline expectations based on Corporate HSE Assist in the implementation of USA DeBusk Core Values, Corporate and Safety standards. Assists, plans, and implements safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal rules and regulations including Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Department of Transportation (DOT) etc... Advises HSE leadership relating to safety compliance concerns and preventative actions. Performs HSE audits and inspections, prepares written reports of findings and recommendations for corrective or preventive measures indicated and follows up to ensure measures have been implemented. Conducts post-accident incident reviews and prepares reports identifying possible accident causes and hazards for use by company personnel and senior management. Assists in the development, evaluation and upgrading of safety programs. Overnight and multi-day travel will be required.
Skill Sets:
Significant experience in OSHA regulatory requirements and familiar with
DOT / FMCSA
requirements. Excellent Computer, communication skills, and training skills Works independently and provides consultative advice within specific functional areas. Applies advanced Health & Safety process principles to multiple tasks. Proficient in area of specialization (industrial) and contributes to other disciplines. Identify hazardous conditions/actions & PSIF issues within the division and recommends corrective measures. Prepare presentations for Incident Review Reports and property losses as needed. Organizes and oversees safety training in EHS Insight. Performs any other relevant duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in a relevant HSE discipline with at least 10 years HSE experience (preferred). If no relevant bachelor's degree, the possession of an Associates Degree + COSS, CSST, or other related certifications is required plus 15 years HSE experience in industrial or military roles. In-depth knowledge of OSHA Construction and General Industry standards Working knowledge of fleet safety and DOT standards Strong interpersonal skills Ability to lead and teach a team. Great attention to detail Critical-thinking and problem-solving skills Ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms. Excellent organizational skills Experience in Risk Management/Mitigation Experience in Occupational Safety and Health Systems Experience in Microsoft365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) Ability to work with all levels of the organization and exchange complex information. Strong Problem-Solving skills Clean driving record and background Must be able to travel out of state as needed for special projects, etc. Able to speak in front of large groups of people.
