Job Description

Compliance and Trainings Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe work environment for all employees and independent Contractors. Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Lead safety training sessions, keeping employees informed on best practices and required safety measures.

MSHA Part 46 Annual Refresher Training/New Miner Training OSHA Training
  • On 29 CFR 1910 General Industry Specialized Training
  • Fall Protection, Confined Space, First Aid/CPR/Defibrillator, Reasonable Suspicion Training, Forklift Training, OSHA 10
  • & 30-hour Training.
Investigate accidents and incidents, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions to prevent future occurrences. Collaborate with management and employees to create a culture of safety and encourage open communication regarding safety concerns. Meet with miner's representative once a month to discuss any safety concerns the miner may have. Ensure proper maintenance and use of safety equipment, such as fire extinguishers and personal protective equipment (PPE). Monitoring the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and ensuring proper adherence to safety measures. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records related to safety inspections, incidents, training and report to OSHA all reportable accidents annually. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of safety policies and procedures, making updates and improvements as needed. Stay current on industry trends and advancements in safety technology, ensuring the company is using the best tools and practices in maintaining a safe work environment. Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies, ensuring the company is prepared for and responsive to any inspections or investigations. Other Help quarries Supervisors on installing warning signs. Uniform Distribution Respond to safety relative issues/ concerns Help quarries during blasting operations when asked. Deliver safety related equipment for miners. Purchase Specialized Personal Protective Equipment. Work with vendors to get better prices on PPE. Assists Quarries/Plant Supervisors with any safety related issues
