Key Duties and Responsibilities SimplyHired +1 :

Safety and Compliance Monitoring :

Assist in monitoring and maintaining records of safety-related documentation, such as driver qualification files, incident reports, training records, and inspection logs. Conduct regular audits of safety and compliance paperwork to ensure accuracy and compliance with company and industry standards.

Incident and Training Support :

Support incident reporting by gathering initial facts and documentation. Help organize and schedule safety trainings, certifications, and employee safety communications. Ensure all safety training records are up to date.

Record Keeping and Reporting :

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant safety regulations and best practices in the trucking and logistics sector. Generate and distribute regular reports on safety metrics and compliance status for leadership review.

Coordination and Communication :

Coordinate with team members, drivers, and other departments to collect missing documents and resolve discrepancies in safety records. Communicate safety protocols and compliance requirements to employees.

Confidentiality and Data Management :

Ensure the confidentiality of sensitive safety and compliance information. Use document management systems or safety/compliance tracking software effectively.

Regulatory Compliance :

Maintain familiarity with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and other applicable safety laws. Support compliance audits and asse
