Position Summary:

Pegatron Technologies is seeking a dedicated and proactive Safety Coordinator to join our Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) team. The Safety Coordinator will play a critical role in developing, implementing, and overseeing safety programs to ensure compliance with local regulations and corporate standards. The primary goal is to foster a safe work environment within our high-volume technology manufacturing facility, preventing accidents through proactive audits, training, and risk assessment. Position Details Conduct regular safety audits, 6S inspections, and risk assessments of manufacturing processes and machinery to ensure compliance with OSHA and local regulations. Develop and deliver safety training sessions for new hires, production staff, and management, including hazardous material handling and emergency procedures. Investigate accidents, near-misses, and incidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Coordinate emergency response plans, fire drills, and safety drills, ensuring the maintenance of firefighting equipment. Identify potential hazards in the production environment (e.g., machine guarding, electrical safety, chemical exposure) and recommend effective, timely solutions. Maintain accurate, up-to-date safety records, including incident reports, training logs, and Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS). Promote a positive, proactive safety culture throughout the facility by engaging with employees and leading safety committee meetings. Oversee contractors' adherence to Pegatron safety policies while working on-site. Qualifications Bachelors degree in occupational health and safety, Engineering, or a related field preferred. Minimum 2-4 years of safety experience in a manufacturing or electronic assembly environment. OSHA 10-hour or 30-hour card (General Industry) preferred. Strong understanding of OSHA standards, fire safety, and industrial hygiene. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for training and reporting. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
