30-Hour Construction Associate Safety Professional Root cause analysis Hazard analysis Full Job Description CE Barker LTD is looking to fill the role of a Safety Coordinator. We are seeking an experienced and proactive Construction Safety Coordinator to support our project teams in the companies upkeep of the Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) program. The Safety Coordinator is responsible for monitoring construction activities, conducting regular site audits, identifying hazards, and training personnel to minimize injuries and ensure compliance with safety standards. Responsibilities for a Safety Coordinator (Included but not limited to):

• Conduct daily/weekly job site safety observations and inspections to identify potential hazards, unsafe conditions, or unsafe behaviors
• Ensure all subcontractors and workers comply with OSHA regulations and company safety standards.
• Conduct or coordinate employee safety training, including new hire safety training, toolbox talks, and specialized training (e.g., fall protection, scaffolding, excavation).
• Investigate all incidents (near misses, injuries, property damage) immediately, conduct root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence
• Maintain meticulous records of safety observations, training, and incident reports. Update safety manuals, emergency plans, and SDS documentation
• Review site-specific Hazard Analysis (JHA/PHA) and approve safety plans for high-risk activities
• Inspect and ensure that all workers are using personal protective equipment (PPE) properly Qualifications for

Safety Coordinator:

• Construction safety experience (or a combination of education and experience)
• Experience in Occupational Health and Safety or related field preferred, or equivalent experience
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification required; OSHA 500 or 510, CHST, or ASP preferred
• Thorough knowledge of

OSHA 1926

construction regulations

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with field laborers, superintendents, foreman, and subcontractors
• Ability to work in a fast-paced field environment, walk on uneven terrain, and work at heights Support in different departments may be necessary to ensure the seamless flow of operations and achieve company goals.
