BILINGUAL
Job Qualification:
A minimum of 3 years of HSE experience in the oil and gas industry
AS/BS/BA
in safety, environmental, ergonomics or a related field is preferred Written and verbal communication skills, including interfacing with clients Analytical and problem-solving skills Knowledge of computers (Word, Excel, Outlook. PowerPoint). An exceptional ability to assess risk and make intelligent recommendations on safety improvements. The ability to engage employees in support of safe work practices Preferably bi-lingual but not mandatory Safety related certification preferred but not mandatory Job Description Possess a thorough understanding of local/regional regulations and company policy. Provide guidance and oversight to ensure compliance to all applicable BBGCI Safety Policies. Complies and submits accident reports required by regulatory agencies and clients. Provides technical support to field and staff employees; including visitations, audits, presentations and safety meetings at various employee and customer locations Promotes a safe workplace for all employees; rectifies any deficiencies that may threaten or cause harm to people, property, or to the environment. Responds to any work-related incident during work hours and emergencies after work hours (24-hour emergency call). Ensure training is being conducted in accordance to BBGCI policies and all operators are competent and are carrying Operator Certification Cards. Conducts orientations and trains new applicants according to regulatory, customer, and internal requirements.
