Job Description

We just partnered with a well-established fire protection contractor with a strong regional presence and a reputation built over decades of quality work, integrity, and long-term client relationships. Our company is known for doing things the right way — investing in our people, standing behind our work, and maintaining the trust of owners, and contractors in the region. We are currently seeking a Fire Protection Inspector to join their team. Key Responsibilities
  • Perform inspections, testing, and maintenance of fire alarm and sprinkler systems
  • Conduct inspections per NFPA 25, 72, and Texas requirements
  • Inspect and service portable fire extinguishers per NFPA 10
  • Identify deficiencies and document required repairs
  • Complete inspection reports per Texas State Fire Marshal standards
  • Test system components including panels, valves, and devices
  • Coordinate with customers and AHJs
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and safety procedures Required Certifications
  • Texas Fire Alarm License (FAL) and Sprinkler Inspector License
  • RME-G Certification (Responsible Managing Employee
  • General)
  • Portable Fire Extinguisher License (FEL-A or FEL-K)
  • Valid driver's license Qualifications
  • Knowledge of NFPA 10, 13, 25, and 72
  • Experience with fire alarm and sprinkler systems
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics
  • Strong troubleshooting skills Preferred
  • NICET Certification
  • OSHA Certification
