What You Need:
RME-I and Backflow licenses (required). Knowledge of fire sprinkler systems, fire/building codes, and OSHA regulations (MSHA preferred). High school diploma or equivalent. Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Ability to pass a background check and drug screening. Strong communication skills in English. Availability for on-call work when needed.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to climb ladders, scaffolding, and stairs . Work in tight spaces and various environments (indoors and outdoors). Lift and carry up to 70 lbs. Operate a motor vehicle safely.

Description:
State Fire is a leading fire protection provider , specializing in fire sprinkler systems, alarms, suppression systems, and security solutions. We're looking for a Fire Sprinkler Inspector to join our team in Salt Lake City . If you have experience with fire sprinkler systems and hold RME-I and Backflow licenses , we want to hear from you!
What You'll Do:
Inspect fire sprinkler systems to ensure compliance with NFPA, state, and local codes . Check sprinkler heads, pipes, valves, and alarms for proper function. Perform system tests, including water flow, pressure, and alarm functionality . Conduct routine maintenance and repairs to keep systems operating safely. Perform service work and service calls , as necessary. Travel within the region (overnights may be required).
