Full-time Overview:

The Construction Safety Trainer will work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment and will be responsible for delivering classroom, on-site and online training, developing up-to-date training materials and promoting construction safety best-practices. The ideal candidate will bring experience in delivering engaging training sessions, a strong understanding of the construction industry, and the ability to communicate effectively across diverse workforces.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Deliver Construction Safety Training programs, including

OSHA-10, OSHA-30, VDOT

Work Zone, general site safety, hazard communication and specialized training in classroom, job site and online settings Prepare Training class materials, keeping up to date with current standards and specifications Promote construction safety best practices with members Prepare weekly Safety Tips and Toolbox talk materials Conduct all training in an energetic and professional manner, with high engagement Outreach to members and non-members to promote training program and membership engagement Create safety manuals and safety plans Participate in member events as needed Attention to detail, self-starter, positive attitude Bilingual English / Spanish preferred Must be able to climb stairs and lift 40lbs. Occasional weekend or evening work required Occasional travel (
