What You'll Do As an Industrial Hygiene Technician, you'll be a hands-on part of the team — identifying hazards, protecting workers, and ensuring compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
Your workday may include:
Conducting asbestos, lead, mold, and indoor air quality surveys. Performing occupational exposure assessments (noise, asbestos, chemicals, etc.). Preparing clear, accurate technical reports for clients. Maintaining and operating field and lab equipment (sampling pumps, microscopes, etc.). Collaborating with project managers and clients to ensure project success. Occasional travel to support projects outside the immediate area — typically about once every two months or less. Reliable personal vehicle required; mileage reimbursed at the IRS standard rate. What You Bring Bachelor's degree in environmental science, occupational health, chemistry, biology, industrial hygiene, or related field. NIOSH 582
◦ Lead Inspector / Risk Assessor ◦ ICC Site Assessor Strong technical writing and organizational skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work in a variety of environments. Ability to pass a background check and drug test (required for federal project access).
