Industrial Hygienist
Richland, WA
Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking qualified candidates for an Industrial Hygienist opportunity in Richland, WA for the DOE Hanford Field Office.
Position Overview:
Evaluate industrial hygiene program documents, plans, procedures, and processes to ensure compliance with regulations and requirements. Ensure that industrial hygiene program requirements are implemented for each of the prime contractors and facilities across the Hanford site. Support HFO oversight of medical program interface with the prime contractors. Perform oversight of contractor IH exposure assessment data provided to medical providers for compliance with requirements and facilitate answers to questions that results from the data. Perform oversight of Hanford prime contractor industrial hygiene program activities to ensure compliance with contractual requirements. Conduct field walk downs to ensure prime contractors are meeting industrial hygiene requirements and procedures. Classify and summarize data for preparation and submission of reports as required. Interface routinely with management personnel and technical staff regarding industrial hygiene and related issues.Minimum Qualifications:
Education - BS/BA degree in engineering, science, or business management, or alternatively, an accredited high school certificate plus 6 years of specialized experience in Industrial Hygiene, in addition to the requisite experience At least 5 years of professional experience in implementation, management, or oversight of Industrial Hygiene standards and requirements. Excellent communications skills Experience using MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, and other MS Office toolsPreferred Qualifications:
At least 10 years of experience in professional Industrial Hygiene. Certified Industrial Hygienist certification Comprehensive and recent understanding of the Hanford Site mission, activities, and priorities.Other Job-Related Qualifications:

Salary is commensurate with education and experience and may range between $90,000 and $200,000 annually.
