Tata Consulting Engineers USA, LLC, (TCE), is a multi-disciplinary engineering organization offering a full range of integrated engineering design, project support, procurement and construction management services to the energy and chemicals industries.
Position Summary
Environmental, Health & Safety Intern provides daily site support through guidance in the Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security disciplines. Supports the site Voluntary Protection Program and team EH&S inspections. Responsibilities
Prepared periodic reports.
Work with plant personnel to collect and prepare annual air emissions (AEI) data to be reported to required agencies.
Provided support to ensure compliance with all RCRA requirements including Hazardous Waste storage tanks and Hazardous Waste collection compliance.
Participate in day to day regulator guidance.
Supports the line organization, plant functional teams and contractors in the field via direct involvement in routine work activities.
Be a visible presence in the field to promote good health and safety practices.
Support operations on issues related to waste management.
Interface with regulatory agencies, schedule any required testing, and provide additional follow-up documentation as required.
Qualifications
Self-starter, ability to plan/organize tasks and consistently produce results with minimal supervision.
Knowledge of Federal (EPA / OSHA) and State Environmental (TCEQ), Health, and Safety Regulation.
Demonstrated , interpersonal, communication, and team building skills.
Ability to effectively lead, influence, and do work across organizational boundaries, which include maintenance, operations, capital, and contractors.
Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Ability to develop PowerPoint presentations.
Education Requirements
High School Diploma.
