Corporate Security and Safety Operations, Consultant Blue Shield of CA United States, California, Rancho Cordova Jun 03, 2026 Your Role The Corporate Security and Safety team is responsible for the safety and security of Blue Shield of California employees, visitors and property including oversight of all elements of the Executive Protection, safeguarding facilities, equipment, materials, and employee property. The Corporate Security and Safety Operations role at the Consultant level will report to the Director, Corporate Security and Safety. Your Knowledge and Experience Required a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; preferred fields are Security Management, Business, or Criminal Justice Requires a minimum 7 years' experience in Executive protection, law enforcement, physical security management or project management Preferred professional certifications:

ATAP CTM, ASIS PSP, ASIS

CPP, or equivalent credentials, or ability to obtain within one year Strong analytical, problem-solving, team leadership, and communication skills Deep knowledge of Corporate Security and Executive Protection typically acquired through advanced education and substantial experience Emotional maturity, tact, and professionalism required in handling sensitive security matters Office-based work with up to 20% travel and varied activity levels; may involve facilities maintenance, repairs, or security tasks Proficiency in Microsoft Office Hybrid This role requires employees to be in-office based on our hybrid workplace model, balancing purposeful in-person collaboration with flexibility. For most teams, this means coming into the office two days each week. Employees living more than 50 miles from an office location will work with their manager to determine in-office time based on business need.
