Job Description

Job Summary:
This is a dual impact leadership role responsible for building and managing the security operations team and driving business development and client acquisition. The ideal candidate is both an operations leader and a relationship builder who leads in excellence in both operations and client engagement. They recruit, train, and lead security personnel while also representing the company in sales conversations to secure contracts. This role is instrumental in positioning FRMS as a trusted provider of professional, reliable, and best in class customer focused security services in the marketplace.
Primary Responsibilities/Essential Duties:
These include, but are not limited to the following: 1. Division Build Out and Leadership Lead the development and launch of the Security Guard Services division Establish operational structure, workflows, and staffing plans Collaborate with leadership to define growth strategy and service offerings Ensure alignment with company vision, brand standards, and service excellence 2. Recruitment, Hiring and Onboarding Partner with Human Resources to recruit, interview, and hire qualified security personnel Ensure all hires meet licensing, certification, and compliance requirements Implement a structured onboarding program Build a pipeline of reliable and professional security officers 3. Training and Development Conduct onboarding and ongoing training programs covering: Company policies, SOPs and brand standards Safety protocols and incident response Conflict resolution and de-escalation Customer service excellence Conduct ongoing coaching and performance development 4. Operations Management and Scheduling Develop and manage staff scheduled to meet client needs Ensure proper coverage across all assigned locations Monitor attendance, punctuality and performance Conduct site visits to ensure service quality and compliance Manage daily operations including incident reporting and escalation 5. Accountability and Performance Management Establish KPIs and performance expectations for all security staff Conduct performance reviews and corrective action when necessary Enforce company policies, SOPs and code of conduct Maintain a culture of professionalism, reliability and excellence 6. Business Development and Sales Support Conduct sales calls (phone, virtual and in-person) Conduct site assessments and client consultations Present service offerings and customize solutions for clients Support Vice President in proposal development and contract discussions Build relationships with key decision-makers in: Corporate offices Hospitality industry (hotels, venues) Airports and transportation hubs Event and venue management companies 7. Client Relationship Management Serve as the point of contact for security service clients Ensure client satisfaction and proactively address concerns Conduct regular client check-ins and performance reviews Identify opportunities to expand services within existing accounts 8. Compliance and Risk Management Ensure compliance with all state and local security regulations Maintain proper licensing and documentation for all staff Develop and enforce safety and incident response protocols Oversee incident reporting and investigation processes Key Performance Indicators (
KPIs:
Successful launch and staffing of the security division Number of qualified security personnel hired and retained Client satisfaction and retention rates Contracts secured and revenue generated (in partnership with leadership) Staff performance, punctuality, and professionalism metrics Compliance with all regulatory requirements Qualifications and Experience (Required): 3+ years of experience in security operations, law enforcement, or security management Active security license (or ability to obtain) Proven experience in team leadership, hiring, and training Strong understanding of security protocols, procedures, and compliance Experience in client-facing roles or business development Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage multiple sites and priorities Qualifications and Experience (Preferred): Experience working in: Hospitality environments Airports or transportation hubs Corporate or commercial properties Background in sales, account management, or contract acquisition
