The RoleSecurity Coordinator with solid experience leading cybersecurity projects, managing security services, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and data protection frameworks. Skilled in coordinating cross-functional teams, overseeing vendors, and aligning security initiatives with organizational risk, resilience, and governance requirements. Adept at translating regulatory obligations into actionable controls and driving end-to-end execution of security programs, audits, and continuous improvement activities.
KEY RESPONSABILITIES
Coordinate and oversee cybersecurity projects and service delivery, ensuring alignment with business priorities and timelinesManage security services and external providers, tracking performance through KPIs, SLAs, and governance meetingsEnsure organizational compliance with data protection laws, cybersecurity regulations, and resilience requirementsSupport the definition, implementation, and maintenance of security policies, procedures, and governance frameworksAct as the point of coordination for audits, assessments, and regulatory reviews, ensuring timely remediation of findingsCollaborate with IT, legal, compliance, and operational teams to implement security and data protection controlsCoordinate incident response activities, escalating as required and ensuring communication with relevant stakeholdersSupport risk management by identifying, documenting, and tracking security risks, gaps, and mitigation plansAssist in the execution of business continuity and disaster recovery exercises and planningOversee onboarding and continuous monitoring of third-party security controls and contractual requirementsPrepare and deliver security reporting to management, including dashboards, progress updates, and compliance statusPromote security awareness and contribute to training initiatives across the organizationWho You Are
CORE REQUIRED COMPETENCIES
6+ year in cybersecurity servicesSpanish and English (B2 level or higher)
Certifications:
CISM, CISA, PMP, SCRUMStrong understanding of cybersecurity project management and delivery methodologiesKnowledge of cybersecurity governance, risk management, and compliance processesFamiliarity with data protection and privacy regulations (GDPR, national data protection laws)Working knowledge of security and resilience standards (ISO 27001, ISO 22301, NIS2, DORA, ENS where applicable)Experience in third-party and vendor management for cybersecurity servicesUnderstanding of security operations, managed security services, and incident response coordinationKnowledge of technical security domains (identity & access, network security, cloud security) at a coordination levelAbility to translate regulatory and audit requirements into security controls and remediation plansStrong documentation and reporting skills (policies, procedures, risk reports, KPI/SLA dashboards)Ability to collaborate with legal, compliance, IT, and business stakeholdersSolid communication, negotiation, and leadership abilities in multi-vendor and cross-functional environmentsExperience coordinating security awareness and training initiativesKnowledge of business continuity and disaster recovery principlesBeing YouThe \
