Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Event Security Officer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of attendees, staff, and property during various events. Your proactive presence and quick response capabilities will help maintain a secure environment, enabling seamless event operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong conflict management skills, a keen eye for surveillance, and relevant experience in law enforcement, military, or security fields. Responsibilities Monitor event premises continuously using CCTV systems and on-site surveillance to identify potential security threats Conduct thorough security checks at entry points, verifying attendee credentials and inspecting for prohibited items Respond promptly and effectively to incidents, conflicts, or emergencies, employing conflict management techniques Provide first aid and CPR when necessary to assist injured individuals until professional medical help arrives Enforce event policies and regulations to ensure compliance among attendees and staff Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and emergency services during incidents or investigations Maintain detailed incident reports and documentation of security activities for review and record-keeping Perform loss prevention activities by identifying suspicious behavior and preventing theft or vandalism Manage crowd control measures to facilitate smooth flow of attendees and prevent overcrowding Conduct regular patrols of the venue using CCTV monitoring and physical inspections to uphold security standards Experience Prior experience in law enforcement, military service, or professional security roles is highly desirable Certification in first aid, CPR, or related emergency response training is preferred Familiarity with surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems and monitoring software Demonstrated ability to manage conflicts effectively in high-pressure situations Knowledge of loss prevention strategies and crowd management techniques Strong understanding of security protocols, incident reporting procedures, and emergency response plans Excellent observational skills with attention to detail and situational awareness If you are committed to maintaining safety through proactive security measures and possess the necessary skills and experience, we encourage you to apply.
