We're seeking a dynamic individual who embodies professionalism, knowledge, skill, adaptability, and self-motivation. As a Physical Security Specialist - Medic, you'll be an invaluable asset, providing security & medical leadership to a team of highly trained professionals. Your role will involve implementing evolving security strategies to ensure a safe environment for our clients. Attention to detail is paramount in this position. You'll conduct thorough breach tests on building infrastructure, engage with clients, and promptly address any security concerns that arise. Additionally, you'll play a crucial role in supporting the EP Team, coordinating evacuations and maintaining emergency protocols. As part of this dynamic role, you will serve as the medical POC for a range of events, from VIP guests to corporate executives. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact and bring your medical knowledge to the safety and success of our clients and their guests.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Maintain a safe and secure environment for clients, employees, and visitors while providing general unarmed security services across multiple locations. Serve as the medical Point of Contact for the team, occasionally supporting the Executive Protection Team, occasional travel possible. Support operational needs by assisting with new site start-ups, temporary assignments, coverage gaps, vacation relief, and unplanned absences. Demonstrate flexibility by adapting to changing assignments, schedules, and post requirements as operational needs evolve. Promote safety by remaining alert to observe, correct, and report potential hazards, suspicious activity, or policy violations. Ability to act as a shift lead, supervising 1 or more team members. Understand and comply with all Prosegur policies, client requirements, and site-specific post orders. Participate in required training and quickly become familiar with procedures at multiple client locations. Conduct routine foot patrols, access control, and general security duties in indoor and outdoor environments. Provide professional customer service while interacting with clients, employees, visitors, and the general public. Accurately complete incident reports, logs, and other required documentation using basic to intermediate computer systems. Be available to work multiple shifts and locations as needed to support coverage requirements.Experience:
Min. 3 years of security operations experience preferred, with consideration given to military, law enforcement, or customer service management backgrounds. Min. 1 year of supervisory experience leading other team members. Preferred experience in corporate-level security and management. Experience in basic medical triage/patient care. Ability to follow detailed instructions and adapt quickly to new environments. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Internal candidates must demonstrate exemplary performance and attendance, with no disciplinary actions within the past year. Exceptional customer service, organizational, analytical, and communication skills. High attention to detail and adaptability to change. Thrives in fast-paced, dynamic, customer-facing environments. Ability to work independently with little oversight.Qualifications & Education Requirements:
NREMT level 2 or 3 certification or Completion of TCCC, basic first responders course required. High School diploma or equivalent required. Ability to work shift work, weekends, and holidays. Reliable transportation and the ability to travel between multiple sites. Willingness to participate in Prosegur's pre-employment screening process, including background investigation and drug screening.Preferred Skills:
First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor qualified. Experience in leading the development, implementation, and management of security processes and monitoring systems. Proficiency in incident response planning and execution. Strong leadership, communication, issue resolution, and performance management abilities. VIP handling, Corporate Security or UHNW experience Optimization of security operations processes and procedures, with a focus on continual improvement.
