Security Assistant Operations Manager Needed

Security Reconnaissance Team, Inc. (SRT Security) - San Antonio, TX Security Reconnaissance Team (SRT Security) is hiring a full-time Assistant Operations Security Manager to support daily field operations, scheduling, and client management. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who can keep operations running smoothly and ensure all posts are fully staffed. Position Summary The Assistant Operations Security Manager supports field operations, officer scheduling, and client communication for assigned accounts. This role works closely with the Operations Manager and administrative staff while maintaining flexibility to assist with staffing, hiring, and field operations when needed. You will play a key role in ensuring all security posts are staffed, officers are supported, and client expectations are consistently met . Key Responsibilities Coordinate and maintain officer scheduling to ensure full coverage across all assigned posts Respond quickly to call-offs, no-shows, and staffing shortages Maintain consistent communication with security officers, supervisors, and clients Serve as a point of contact for client scheduling needs, service concerns, and updates Review and manage time-off requests and staffing adjustments Monitor and manage overtime through efficient scheduling practices Address employee concerns related to scheduling, performance, and workplace issues Investigate performance concerns and administer coaching or corrective action as needed Review daily logs, reports, and incident documentation for accuracy and compliance Assist in maintaining post orders and operational documentation Support leadership in ensuring all contract requirements and service levels are met Respond to urgent operational issues or site needs as they arise Occasionally assist with field coverage or special assignments What We're Looking For Strong experience in security operations, scheduling, or workforce coordination Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and client service skills Proven leadership and problem-solving ability High level of attention to detail and follow-through Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Experience with scheduling or workforce management systems preferred Requirements Active Texas Level II or III Security License Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Strong scheduling, communication, and leadership skills Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Must pass background check and drug screening Minimum age: 25 Schedule & Availability This role requires flexibility and may include: Day, evening, and overnight shifts Weekends and holidays On-call responsibilities Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance Paid Time Off (PTO) Bi-weekly direct deposit payroll Training and licensing support Career advancement and professional development opportunities Employee referral program Supportive team-oriented work environment Preferred Experience 1+ year of supervisory experience 1+ year of scheduling or workforce management 1+ year of recruiting, hiring, or onboarding Apply today to join one of Texas' fastest-growing security companies.
