Do you currently possess Top Secret SCI clearance? Do you have experience in Physical Security (PHYSEC) and Personnel Security (PERSEC) supporting DOD customers before? If so, then we invite you to read on.
ABOUT THIS ROLE
St. Michael's is hiring a Security Specialist to support a Department of Defense (DOD) client. You will be in a client-facing role that will benefit from your program management experience and experience with processes and systems used to support security services within the DOD. Our core value of Teamwork will be paramount to this role as you will both lead and work as a contributing member to a team of security specialists providing support across multiple security disciplines in our client's security services office.
LOCATION
Alexandria, VA (100% On-site)
WHO YOU ARE
Active Top Secret w/SCI High school diploma or higher 1 or more years of experience working in a security role within government of military sectors 1 or more years of experience supporting medium scale DOD organizations 1 or more years of experience in DISS, federal record policy, and risk assessments Demonstrated experience identifying security vulnerabilities, recommending mitigation strategies, and training others in these areas
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide on-site administrative support for security related files and information, including records management Provide support to client customers requiring assistance with a variety of security related tasks (e.g., CAC issuance, VARs, System Access, SCI Indocs) Manage and monitor email inbox and other communication channels Complete daily, weekly, and monthly metric recording and tracking Support inspections and participate in training activities #
