Job Description

Overview:
Are you passionate about protecting critical information and contributing to national security? We're looking for a motivated and experienced Industrial Security Specialist to join our team and make a meaningful impact. In this role, you'll play a key part in safeguarding classified information, Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), company assets, and personnel. You'll collaborate with dedicated professionals while ensuring compliance with federal security regulations, including the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM). This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex, mission-driven government programs in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where your expertise truly matters. •This position is contingent upon award and not currently funded•
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage DD Form 254 requirements across active and developing contracts Ensure compliance with NISPOM and other applicable federal security regulations Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on industrial security matters Monitor, assess, and communicate security posture, risks, and mitigation strategies Deliver executive-level briefings and written updates on contract security compliance Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support secure program execution Conduct self-inspections, internal assessments, and program reviews Ensure adherence to NISPOM, contractual obligations, and organizational policies Support and lead preparation for government inspections and audits Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
5-7 years in Industrial Security within DoD or Intelligence Community. Strong working knowledge of NISPOM requirements. Extensive, hands-on experience with DD Form 254 development, execution, and lifecycle management. Experience with CMMC and acquisition security frameworks. Demonstrated experience briefing and advising senior government leadership. Proven ability to communicate complex security issues at the executive level. Strong experience in risk assessment and mitigation
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related field CDSE certification and/or equivalent industrial security training Familiarity with: DD Form 441 (DoD Security Agreement) Contract Security Classification Guides Enterprise-level or multi-contract security programs Experience supporting high-visibility, senior leader-driven programs
