Deputy Program Manager

As the Deputy Program Manager for the Air National Guard Base Infrastructure Modernization (BIM) contract, you will direct the day-to-day governance of the modernization project, ensuring all activities remain strictly aligned with contract requirements.

• Responsibilities
• + You will serve as a central synchronization point between technical engineering, logistics, safety, and installation functions to maintain a unified project trajectory.

Providing senior-level oversight, you will coordinate critical project milestones, including qualification, installation, and acceptance gates. + Your leadership in conjunction with the Program Manager is essential for maintaining the project schedule and ensuring continuous cybersecurity compliance across all workstreams. + You will bridge functional gaps to ensure that field operations, technical designs, and administrative requirements are executed seamlessly and in accordance with government expectations. + Manages program(s) to ensure that implementation and prescribed activities are carried out in accordance with specified objectives. + Responsible for the delivery of an assigned program(s). + Manages the planning, scope definition, design, execution, and delivery. + Tracks progress against milestones, budgetary guidelines, or other performance indicators, and prepares reports to senior management. + Responsible for managing activities of external consultants and/or vendors. + Comprehensive knowledge of the field's concepts and principles. Leads and directs the work of other employees and has full authority for personnel decisions. + Administers departmental policies and procedures, evaluates results and performance, and assists with the development of new or modified budgets, strategic plans, or policies.

• Qualifications
• + An active DoD Secret clearance is required for consideration + Bachelor's degree and 5-7 years of relevant experience; 4 additional years of applicable work experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

+ Proven experience in project governance and the management of multi-disciplinary teams (technical, logistics, and safety) within a federal contracting environment. + Demonstrated ability to manage complex project schedules and oversee rigorous acceptance gates and system qualification processes. + Strong understanding of the synchronization required between technical execution and cybersecurity compliance mandates.

• Preferred Qualifications:

• + Prior experience supporting Air Force campus network modernization programs or large-scale DoD infrastructure deployments.
