Salary $65K-80K Position Overview The Account Manager oversees daily security operations, supervises security officers, and helps maintain a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and property. Responsibilities include officer leadership and training, incident response, operational oversight, and ensuring compliance with company policies and security procedures. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, dependable leader, and skilled problem-solver who thrives in a professional security environment. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily security operations and provide leadership to on-site security officers. Ensure the safety and security of personnel, visitors, property, and company assets. Respond to and manage security incidents, emergencies, and critical situations. Supervise access control, badge management, investigations, and security reporting. Monitor security systems including CCTV, alarms, access control, and communication systems. Conduct officer training, performance oversight, and ensure compliance with company procedures. Maintain schedules, reports, audits, training records, and other administrative functions. Coordinate with internal departments, emergency responders, and external partners as needed. Manage security equipment, technology projects, and vendor-related activities. Continuously improve security processes, customer service, and operational effectiveness. Physical Requirements (as needed) Ability to lift and transport emergency medical equipment. Ability to climb ladders and access elevated areas during emergencies. Must be CPR/AED certified and able to perform CPR. Ability to communicate clearly in emergency situations. Ability to operate a standard vehicle. Ability to sit or stand for extended periods. Organizational Relationships Regular interaction with the Director of Corporate Security and security leadership team. Frequent communication with all levels of internal management regarding security matters and policy compliance. Ongoing coordination with vendors, contractors, and external service providers. Supports and maintains strong working relationships across departments to ensure a safe and secure environment. Education & Experience High school diploma required; associate degree preferred (Criminal Justice or related field). Law enforcement, military, or industrial security experience preferred. Valid driver's license required. Ability to maintain required medical response skills and certifications. Required Skills & Competencies Strong verbal and written communication skills, with ability to prepare clear incident reports. Ability to remain calm and effective in emergencies, crisis situations, and high-stress environments. Strong judgment, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt to changing conditions. Professional demeanor with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of personnel, including leadership and executives. High attention to detail, confidentiality, and situational awareness. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and extended or irregular shifts as needed. Commitment to maintaining a professional appearance and representing the organization appropriately.
