PRIMARY OBJECTIVE
To be the visual/physical/responsive presence on campus during shift. To provide a safe and secure environment for our residents and employees. To act as the first response to all emergencies on campus during the hours of 6pm-6 am daily Provide set-up and breakdown of banquet rooms tables and chairs.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Required to pass a background check Possess a high school diploma/GED; Willing to work a flexible schedule (including weekends) Desire to work with seniors Must possess team spirit, good character, and personal integrity.
PARTIAL LIST OF DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
To always maintain a presence of response/assistance/knowledge on the campus. Respond to resident issues and emergencies as the "first response" promptly and effectively. To follow the security rounds schedule (printed separately) - understanding it may change as needed. To be always available by cell phone or in person for "first response" to emergency issues To use appropriate judgment to call police, fire, EMS as indicated. Make scheduled rounds of the campus to include Edwards Ave, Williamsburg Condo, Cottage Apartment Buildings, Garden Apartment Buildings, Assisted Living Facility, Courtyard Suites and all common areas. Deliver medications, notices, and other such items as directed by administration to the residents of the Village. Assist in the opening and closing of the swimming pool and Wellness Center as outlined. Occasional use of pool chemicals may be assigned. Routine may change with the change of seasons.
