Job Summary:
The Building Monitor provides security for assigned division. Reports theft, vandalism, and any other unauthorized or illegal activity. Serve as contact point and access control for after-hours visitors. ditional
Department Summary:
Patrols the Law Center, grounds, and parking lot during assigned hours to monitor for and report any unauthorized or illegal activity. Acts as a contact point for students, staff, and faculty with security questions or concerns and as access control for visitors during assigned hours. May also be required to work during certain athletic events or other special events at the law school.
Required Minimum Qualifications:
Must be able to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions.
Skills and Knowledge:
Strong communication and conflict resolution skills. Attention to detail. High degree of professionalism.
Preferred Qualifications:
First Aid and/or CPR training. Experience in security.
