Armed Security Officer

The Opportunity UHP is seeking Security Personnel to help support the safety, security, and operational readiness of our 800+ acre campus community in Gentry, Arkansas. This is an armed security role supporting students, staff, guests, and campus operations in a fast-moving, mission-driven environment. We are looking for professionals who bring strong judgment, professionalism, situational awareness, and a calm presence under pressure. Responsibilities Patrol and monitor campus property and facilities Respond to security incidents, emergencies, and medical situations Provide EMT-level response when needed Support campus safety, events, and operational readiness Maintain incident documentation and communication Serve as a visible and professional security presence across campus Qualifications EMT-Basic certification required Armed security experience preferred Military, law enforcement, or security background strongly preferred Ability to stay calm and professional in dynamic situations Strong communication and decision-making skills Comfortable working onsite in an active campus environment Schedule & Environment Full-time onsite role in Gentry, Arkansas Flexible availability for varying shifts, weekends, and campus coverage needs Active campus environment across an 800+ acre property UHP offers a competitive compensation and benefits package that includes: Competitive compensation 401(k) program Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off Professional development support Access to UHP performance and recovery facilities Why UHP Belong to something, Believe in something, Strive for something.
