PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and members of the public by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a government location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and reporting them through the appropriate channels. Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, unsecured areas, and other security-related issues. Monitor entrances, exits, and public areas to help support authorized access, observe daily activity, and assist with directing visitors and/or staff as needed. Communicate with local personnel, supervisors, and/or first responders regarding incidents, facility concerns, and changing conditions while maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.
Minimum Requirements:
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Customer service experience is preferred. A guard card and/or license is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. X-ray screening experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
