Description
GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES
To monitor the activities of a College Campus/Center, including facility use, safety concerns, and security awareness.
Examples of Duties Standard Expectations:
Monitors the campus/center and keeps daily written log of activities. Opens buildings and classrooms as scheduled and secures buildings and classrooms on a campus/center when closing. Maintains a visible presence at assigned location. Monitors classroom activity and regularly checks activities in all buildings and areas. Reports any situation, which may cause concern or endangerment to staff and students. Contacts emergency responders and the Campus/Center Manager when a situation may become potentially threatening or cause for alarm. Initiates incident report process when campus/center office is closed. Monitors inside and outside lighting and reports any work orders necessary. Performs general light maintenance work, and completes work-order requests when needed. Monitors security of campus/center vehicles, checks mileage, fluids, cleanliness and submits a weekly report including mileage, servicing completed and next servicing due date. Completes monthly security checks on fire extinguishers, first aid kits and security lights. Completes AED inspections when assigned. If applicable, cleans and fuels campus fleet vehicles on a regular basis. Assists with light custodial duties as needed, including sweeping of walkways and parking areas. Removes snow from walkways and parking areas as required. Checks student and employee identifications as needed. Completes physical arrangements before and after meetings as requested based on the locations calendar. Performs other duties as assigned

Ability to lift 50 pounds, kneel, crawl, and climb ladders. Basic Minimum Qualifications High School completion or equivalent General understanding of cleaning procedures. Supplemental Information Post-high school courses or training that are appropriate for the position.
