Job Description
ARMED GUARDS-BORDER/CONSTRUCTION SITES ALONG ARIZONA-MEXICO BORDER NEAR LUKEVILLE. ARIZONA ARMED GUARD LICENSE REQUIRED . OVERVIEW
Employees will typically work a minimum of 60 hours a week, with some working 72 and 84 hours per week (12-hour Shifts) Weekly payroll. All OT paid in accordance with state law. Work occurs on the Arizona-Mexico Border (near Lukeville, AZ). Primary function is to monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure the safety/security of the client's employees, contractors, and equipment. Must be able to write a comprehensive daily activity report (DAR) in accordance with company standards. Additional opportunities to work in NM, TX, and CA for those with proper licenses Must be able to stand or walk for the entire shift minus scheduled breaks. Some positions start in 30 days.EXPERIENCE
Three years recent experience as border security officer or former Military (recent), or Three years recent experience as an armed security officer, with construction site security experience Two years recent experience in law enforcementREQUIREMENTS
- Must have existing Arizona armed security guard license.
- Must have valid Driver's License and good driving record; and
- Pass a comprehensive background check & initial and random drug tests
- Must have your own side arm, duty belt, smart phone, and reliable 4X4 or AWD transportation.
DRESS & APPEARANCE
- Uniform Shirt and Jackets (provided for by the company)
- Tan/Desert Sand BDU's and Boots (you provide)
COMPENSATION
- Starting straight time pay rate is $22 per hour, with OT being paid. All overtime will be calculated and paid in accordance with Arizona state laws.
- Per Diem, for those who work full-time, is $105 per day. This is for meals and housing, when required. Full-time employees are paid per diem for every full shift the work. For those who relocate, per diem is guaranteed 7 days a week.
- When applicable, vehicle pay is $90 per day. Your POV may be used if the company does not have any company owned vehicles for you to use and your 4X4 or AWD POV meets our minimum standards.
- Payroll is processed weekly.
