Position Summary:

Under general supervision the Security Officer shall work with Supervisor and other staff to provide safety of staff, students, visitors and all District property. Maintains vigilance and assists in campus crime prevention.

Month Calendar Salary:

$20.42 - $25.39/ hour. Placement in the range will be based on a combination of education, industry related experience, teaching experience, and certification.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Graduation from high school or equivalent At least 2 years of progressively responsible experience in security, law enforcement, or military police OR completion of a security training program equivalent to work experience OR a combination of both.

LICENSING /CERTIFICATION AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Level 1 IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card Possession of a current and valid Arizona drivers license Proof of immunization against or immunity to measles and rubella if born after January 1, 1957.
