Job Description

Reports To:
Onsite General Manager (GM) & Director of Security Key Responsibilities Patrol the property, including interior/exterior areas, hallways, parking lots, and restricted zones. Monitor CCTV, alarms, and access-control systems; investigate any suspicious activity or alerts. Enforce hotel rules, company policies, and safety standards while providing excellent guest service. Respond swiftly to incidents, disturbances, and emergency situations; coordinate with police/EMS when needed. Provide support and safety assistance to guests and employees in a professional manner. Complete accurate daily activity logs and detailed incident reports. Work closely with the GM and Director of Security on all security-related matters. Perform safety inspections (locks, lighting, doors, fire extinguishers) and report hazards or maintenance needs. Maintain a professional appearance, communication style, and demeanor at all times.
Qualifications Minimum Age:
21+
License:
Valid Arizona DPS security guard license/guard card (or ability to obtain before hire)
Experience:
3+ years in security, hospitality, or related field preferred
Skills:
Strong observation, communication, conflict resolution, and de-escalation abilities
Certifications:
CPR/First Aid/AED preferred (or willing to obtain within 90 days) Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure and in emergency situations
