Must apply upon hire if not already held Duties/Responsibilities Perform daily rounds, egress/ingress control at Civil Hospital, Forensic Hospital, Arizona Community Protection & Treatment Center, and campus grounds Respond to codes, drills, emergencies, safety inspections, and provide customer service Rotate through assigned posts and serve as interior rover Assist and support staff during patient interventions using Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) methods Address and resolve patient conflicts, participate in vehicle/radio maintenance, and complete required documentation Monitor and operate security equipment, electronic cameras, and radios Required Qualifications Security Guard/Officer experience Ability to follow and execute written/verbal directives Skilled in verbal de-escalation, hospital code response, and critical patient intervention (verbal/physical) Trained in evacuation procedures and fire safety equipment Strong report writing and investigation skills Effective communicator (verbal and written) Ability to lift, carry, and perform other physical duties Maintain professional relationships with patients/residents, staff, law enforcement, and visitors Capable of interpreting/applying policy and procedures Support a diverse, multicultural, and inclusive workforce If not certified, must apply for FPCC upon hire Preferred Experience/Certifications Hospital or healthcare-related security experience Knowledge of NVCI Experience in multi-cultural public employment settings Important Details Night shift is 9pm-7am; assignment lasts at least 4 months with FTE conversion available Must meet all listed vaccination and safety requirements to begin work As part of our promise to talent, Kelly supports those who work with us through a variety of benefits, perks, and work-related resources.
