Security Officer

Responsibilities:

Responsible for creating congenial atmosphere conducive to gambling, providing gaming personnel and guests with physical security, ensuring all Casino funds are safely transported and properly secured at all times, enforcing age requirements of guests, preparing and maintaining a daily log/and or reports of all activities, patrolling gaming areas, including outside parking lots and immediate grounds, assisting Law Enforcement authorities as necessary, attending training sessions and departmental security meetings as required.

Requirements:

Must be 18 years or older to apply. Must have a high school diploma or GED. Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and adhere to the Tribal/Gaming's Drug and Alcohol policy. Must adhere to all Tribal/Gaming Agency Personnel Policies and Procedures. Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a strong orientation to excellent guest service. Must be self-reliant and capable of working independently as appropriate or necessary. Must have a valid Arizona Driver's License and be insurable under the Yavapai-Prescott Indian Tribe's auto insurance carrier. Must maintain a high degree of confidentiality. Must be able to remain alert, attentive and focused at all times. Must be able to write clearly and concisely. Must successfully complete training in self-defense and handcuffing. Must be able to lift and periodically carry up to 75 lbs.

Preferred Requirements:

Prefer 6 months of security experience. Full-time, benefited position, starting rate $14.31-$19.03. Must pass a background security check prior to and during the course of employment.
