Overview Join our dynamic security team as an Unarmed Security Guard, where your vigilance and dedication will help maintain a safe and secure environment for staff, visitors, and property. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will be vital in preventing incidents and responding effectively to any situations that arise. Responsibilities Monitor premises through surveillance systems such as CCTV to detect suspicious activity and ensure safety. Conduct regular patrols of the property, including entrances, exits, and common areas, to identify potential security risks. Enforce access control procedures by verifying identification and authorizations for visitors, contractors, and staff. Respond promptly to alarms or incidents, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary. Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations to ensure accurate record-keeping. Assist in loss prevention efforts by observing and reporting theft or vandalism attempts. Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors with directions or inquiries while maintaining a vigilant security presence. Qualifications Proven experience in security roles or related fields such as law enforcement, military, or surveillance operations. Knowledge of security procedures, conflict management techniques, and emergency response protocols. Certifications in first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), or law enforcement are highly desirable. Familiarity with CCTV systems and loss prevention strategies to monitor and protect property effectively. Strong communication skills with the ability to handle tense situations calmly and professionally. Ability to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods while maintaining focus and alertness.
