Unarmed Security Officer for Tucson Shopping Center

Unarmed Security Officer•Less Than Lethal Experience Arizona Veteran Security is searching for an experience Security Officer with "less than lethal". The Officer will maintain property security in a shopping center located in Tucson, Arizona.

Part-Time:

Saturday•Sunday 8am•4pm

Pay Rate:

$18 per hour You must complete all screening questions and submit resume to be considered.

Required Unarmed Qualifications:

21 years of age or older Hold a current AZ DPS unarmed security guard card 3 years' experience as a licensed unarmed security officer Minimum 2 years "Less than Lethal" experience Possess duty belt and equipment (OC spray, baton, handcuffs) Valid driver's license and vehicle to report to jobsite Smart phone with a data plan and the ability to operate apps Current working email address Must be drug free

Job Duties:

Walking/Bike Patrols Maintain a safe environment for patrons and owners Report updates to command center of any irregularities, suspicious activities, security breaches and/or safety hazards Understand and utilize technology products such as a smartphones, computers, tablets, and web based applications

Physical Requirements:

Walk or bike for 8 hours Occasionally bend/twist at waist/knees/neck to perform duties. Lift or carry up to 25 pounds Constant use of both hands and arms in reaching/handling/grasping while using phone, notepad, writing reports Constant use of eyes to observe, read, interact with public and co-workers Work in various environments including adverse outdoor conditions such as cold, rain or heat Constant mental alertness and attention to detail
