Responsibilities Monitor surveillance systems such as CCTV cameras to detect suspicious activity and ensure site security. Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential hazards or security breaches. Control access points by verifying identification and authorizations for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors. Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, including medical situations requiring first aid or CPR. Manage conflict situations with professionalism, employing conflict management techniques to de-escalate tensions. Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks for reporting purposes. Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders when necessary to address security concerns or incidents. Qualifications Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable. Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; willingness to obtain if not already certified. Strong surveillance skills with familiarity in CCTV operations and loss prevention strategies. Knowledge of conflict management techniques and ability to handle tense situations calmly and effectively. Ability to perform physical patrols, stand for extended periods, and respond quickly in emergency scenarios. Excellent observational skills with attention to detail and situational awareness.
