Department of Public Safety 2222 N. Alamo St. San Antonio, Texas, 78215 United States Job Summary and Description Under general DPS supervision, responsible for providing excellent customer service while ensuring the security, safety and well-being of all personnel, students, visitors, and the premises. Respond to emergencies, provide initial assistance, and coordinate with law enforcement, fire, or medical personnel as needed to maintain safety and protect of ACD. Minimum Education and Experience:
High school diploma or GED is required. Clear criminal background.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Six months of job-related experience. Complete the CPR, First Aid & AED training within the first year of employment.
Licenses and Certifications:
Must have a valid driver license. Must be insurable through the organization's insurers. Preferred licensed as a peace officer by the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE) within the first year of employment. Motor Vehicle Report is required in addition to background check and drug screen EEO Statement
