Security GuardJob Summary We are seeking a dependable, professional, and customer-service-oriented Security Guard to help maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and contractors within a professional services setting. The ideal candidate is observant, calm under pressure, and committed to upholding safety standards while providing exceptional service. Key Responsibilities Monitor and patrol assigned areas on foot to ensure the safety and security of the premises. Control access points and verify identification for visitors, employees, and vendors. Respond promptly and appropriately to alarms, emergencies, and security incidents. Provide assistance, information, and directions to visitors in a courteous and professional manner. Prepare accurate and detailed reports regarding daily activities, incidents, and irregularities. Enforce company policies and procedures to maintain order and security. Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary. Monitor surveillance cameras and security systems for suspicious activity. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Valid California BSIS Guard Card required.

Must possess valid permits/certifications for:

Pepper Spray Baton Taser Must have a valid security guard license and duty vest/equipment. CPR certification preferred. Previous experience in security, customer service, or a professional office environment is a plus. Strong observational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to remain calm and act effectively during emergency situations. Basic computer proficiency for report writing and monitoring systems. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Work Environment Combination of indoor and outdoor patrol duties. May require evening, weekend, and holiday shifts. Frequent interaction with employees, visitors, vendors, and contractors.
