Bouncer/Security The Stand Up Comedy Club - 1.5 Bellflower, CA Job Details Part-time $18 - $20 an hour 12 hours ago Qualifications CPR Certification Certified Protection Officer (CPO) First Aid Certification Guard Card Security Full Job Description Bouncer / Security Team Member The Stand Up Comedy Club is seeking a professional, friendly, and reliable Security Team Member to help provide a safe and welcoming environment for our guests, staff, and performers. Bouncer at a comedy club highly encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
Check IDs and ensure all guests meet age requirements. Monitor guest behavior and maintain a safe, respectful atmosphere. Assist with crowd control during entry, seating, and exit. Handle disturbances professionally and de-escalate conflicts when necessary. Enforce venue policies and procedures. Work closely with management, servers, bartenders, and box office staff. Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas. Assist with emergency situations and incident reporting. Help protect company property and equipment.
Qualifications:
Previous security, bouncer, military, law enforcement, or customer service experience preferred. Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills. Ability to remain calm under pressure. Professional appearance and demeanor. Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to stand and walk for the time we have shows Must be at least 21 years old. Valid Guard Card preferred but not required.
What We're Looking For:
We want team members who understand that security is about more than removing disruptive guests. The ideal candidate is observant, respectful, approachable, and committed to creating a positive experience for everyone who walks through our doors.
Schedule:
Primarily Friday and Saturday and some Thursdays and Sunday evenings, with additional shifts available for private events and special shows.

Based on experience.
