Unarmed Security Guard (On-Call / As-Needed)

Overview Join our dynamic team at Oncall Security Services as an On-Call Unarmed Security Guard and play a vital role in maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment across various client sites. This position is ideal for individuals seeking flexible, as-needed assignments while gaining hands-on experience in security operations. As an on-call officer, you will be deployed to different locations based on operational needs, including short-term assignments, emergency coverage, and special events. Your proactive presence and strong observation skills will help prevent incidents, respond effectively to emergencies, and uphold the integrity of each site. Duties Conduct regular patrols of assigned premises to identify potential security risks or safety hazards Monitor surveillance systems such as CCTV cameras to oversee activity across the property Control access points by verifying identification and authorizing entry for employees, visitors, and contractors Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergency situations with professionalism Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations Support loss prevention efforts by observing suspicious behavior and reporting concerns Coordinate with law enforcement or emergency responders when required Requirements Valid BSIS Guard Card (Required) Skills & Qualifications (Preferred, Not Required) Basic knowledge of security operations or surveillance systems (CCTV) Strong communication and professionalism when interacting with the public Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations Prior experience in security or related fields is a plus Why Join Oncall Security Services?
