Armed Security Guard. Monday-Friday 8:30am-3:30pm

Job Description:

We are looking for an Armed Security Officer that has knowledge and experience working with High School Students. This job requires excellent deescalation tactics, the ability to remain calm during hostile situations, and the ability to communicate well.

Duties:

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of the premises
• Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances
• Enforce access control procedures and verify the identity of individuals entering or exiting the premises
• Conduct regular inspections to identify potential security risks or breaches
• Report any suspicious activities or incidents to the appropriate authorities
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and addressing their inquiries or concerns
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed
• Assist in implementing loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage

• Strong observation and surveillance skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Physical fitness and ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time
