Job Description
Must have a Driver's License and an active Guard Card. We are looking for an experienced Security Patrol Officer to patrol multiple sites in marked company vehicles. You will be responsible for detecting any suspicious behavior, preventing vandalism, thefts, or other criminal behavior. Ideal candidate will have strong observation skills, be detail oriented, experience using app based reporting systems, be a team player/communicate effectively, maintain a high level of integrity, strive to maintain a safe and inviting environment, able to handle stressful situations, manage strict time frames. If you have a passion to protect others and their property, enjoy driving, and providing excellent professional security. This job is for you! Responsibilities Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people in the property Remove wrongdoers or trespassers from the area Secure all exits, doors and windows after end of operations Investigate people for suspicious activity or possessions Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation Provide assistance to people in need Apprehend and detain perpetrators according to legal protocol before arrival of authorities Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences Skills Proven experience as security officer or guard Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety Familiarity with report writing Excellent surveillance and observation skills Registered as a security officer through BSIS' '
