Armed Security Officer (Full-time & Part-time)

Job description : Coldwater Protection Services is currently seeking highly competent Armed Security Officers to join our team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a Security Officer. All available positions are located within West Hollywood area. Ideal candidates must be disciplined and operate with complete integrity and respect. Candidates must demonstrate courtesy, respect and possess superior customer service skills and be self-aware of their actions. All candidates must be reliable, demonstrate positive attendance and be able to work as a team. The ideal candidate will take their role as a security officer seriously, be punctual, presentable, and demonstrate excellent performance and communication skills. Any training on arrest and detention, medical, CPR, tourniquet, pepper spray, military or law enforcement is highly desirable. This is a high visibility, uniformed position requiring attention to detail, surroundings, and the ability to de-escalate any potential crisis or situation.

Requirements:

A valid California Driver License. Valid Ca. BSIS Guard Card. Valid Ca. BSIS Exposed Firearm Permit. Possession of an semi-automatic Pistol, properly licensed and registered to the individual as owner of the weapon. High School Diploma or equivalent. Must possess reliable transportation. Expect:

Maintain daily activity reports (DAR), scan checkpoints and submit incident reports when necessary. Patrol the premises and maintain a high level of visibility. Monitor entrances and exits to ensure only authorized personnel access the facility. ( scanning ID's and able to spot fake ID's) Remove trespassers when necessary. Monitor surveillance cameras. Respond to reports of suspicious activity. Standing for long periods of time Sweeping the front of location as needed Taking out the trash as needed

$19.00 - $21.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40 per week for full time and minimum 24 per week for part time.
