Security Supervisor Job Description Position Title:
Campus Safety Lead Employment Type:
Full-Time Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and professional Campus Safety Lead to assist in overseeing daily security operations at a school campus. This leadership role requires a highly dependable individual with strong supervisory skills, excellent judgment, and the ability to effectively manage security personnel while maintaining a safe and secure learning environment. This is not an entry-level position. Qualified candidates must possess recent full-time security leadership experience and demonstrate the ability to lead by example in high-pressure situations. Schedule Requirements Preferred candidates must have open availability.Required availability:
Monday through Saturday Between 6:00 AM - 7:00 PM Varying shifts and start/end times based on operational needs Minimum Qualifications Minimum 2-4 years of recent full-time security supervisor/lead experience Minimum 2-4 years of recent full-time security experience Ability to de-escalate physical and verbal confrontations professionally Ability to walk and remain active for 8-10 hours per shift High school diploma or equivalent required Additional education in criminal justice, security management, or related fields preferred Valid CA guard card (40 hours of training certificates) Strong knowledge of local and state safety regulations Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills Key Responsibilities Security Team Leadership Supervise, mentor, and support campus security personnel ( lead by example) Assign daily duties and manage staff schedules Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and training Maintain professionalism, accountability, and operational readiness among staff Campus Security Operations Develop and implement campus-specific security procedures and protocols Ensure all personnel comply with company policies and safety standards Conduct routine patrols and monitor campus activity Coordinate with school administration and company management regarding safety concerns Incident Response & Emergency Management Respond promptly and effectively to incidents, emergencies, alarms, and disturbances De-escalate confrontational situations using sound judgment and conflict resolution techniques Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary Complete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate documentation Training & Compliance Facilitate ongoing training for security personnel in emergency response and best practices Ensure all certifications and required training remain current Monitor compliance with operational procedures and legal requirements Reporting & Documentation Maintain organized records of incidents, personnel activity, and daily operations Prepare regular reports for management regarding security operations and findings Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (8-10 hours daily) Lift 10-15 pounds Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to respond quickly during emergency situationsJob Type:
