This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in a dynamic healthcare environment. Full Time. Days, 6am to 2:30pm Duties Conduct regular patrols of hospital corridors, entrances, parking areas, and restricted zones to deter theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access. Verify the identity of visitors, contractors, and staff before granting access to secure areas. Respond promptly to security alarms, emergencies, or incidents by assessing situations and coordinating with emergency responders when necessary. Enforce hospital policies related to security procedures, loss prevention, and conflict management with professionalism and tact. Maintain detailed incident reports and logs of daily activities to ensure accurate documentation of security events. Skills Proven experience or training in law enforcement, military service, or security operations. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations effectively. Certifications in first aid and CPR are highly desirable to respond confidently during emergencies. Familiarity with loss prevention strategies and security best practices within healthcare settings. Ability to remain alert for extended periods while maintaining focus on surveillance duties. Excellent customer service skills (well-mannered and respectful) Reliable, respectful, on-time High school diploma or GED Open to Healthcare Vaccination Compliance At least 18 years old Valid California Guard Card Reliable transportation Eligible to work in the U.S. Valid ID (state or federal) Social Security Card Clearly read, understand and speak English Bilingual skills are a plus to support our diverse client base, assist with language access, and communicate with Spanish-speaking individuals Vigilant and responsible Follow policies and procedures
